I can't believe they let me take them home! But really what happens now? These are my thoughts as my husband and I embark on a new career, lifestyle, sleep patterns, etc. with our three kids, Jackson, Robert and Cora.
the boys ran into the room this morning with the declaration that IT SNOWED! Yes it did. Not much but it did snow some. We headed out after breakfast and there was not much to play with in the grass so we headed to the park. There was a ton more snow there and no people. Jack was laughing out loud about how fast the slides were with snow on them and made a few good snow angels. We have been at this park numerous times when we were the only kids playing b/c it was too cold and today was no different. Then we got to go bowling with Oma Opa and Katie where Rob proved that he was indeed the slowest bowler EVER. Then back to the house for the rest of the day. A good day overall. It is bitterly cold outside tonight and will be all weekend so I am glad we gave it a try and played outside as much as we could. The boys and I have been strangly content to be at home these days. We dont get out of our jammies and go from room to room playing, finishing, projects and reading. I am soaking up as much of this 'simple' time with the boys before Cora gets here and it has been nice.
